Giveaway weekend!

Well hello there! WHOO for FRIDAY!

Thanks so much for all of the kind comments about our decluttered basement! It is such a weight off my shoulders to have that space DONE.

And now, to celebrate the weekend, I have a great giveaway for you! :)

image

I have to admit -- I was more than a little surprised when I checked out Oriental Furniture and found so many pieces I loved. I mean, our Suburban style is pretty far off from Asian-inspired. ;)

But I found so many beautiful items -- here’s a few of the reasons I was sold. :)

I love these rattan end tables:

 image

They come in three different tones – a light natural, brown and black. Love the natural look and the simple shape. (And the great price!) Just lovely!

You know I’m in the organizing mood…like, always. So this one caught my eye:

It comes in three colors as well and with even more drawers. Those wheels make it perfect for a playroom or crafting space!

I LOVE their lighting options! This capiz fixture is gorgeous:

    LMPCAPIZ_1

This lantern would work great with so many styles:

Wouldn’t that be beautiful over a kitchen sink? Or hanging over a desk?

These pendants are corded and can be plugged in – so you could swag them wherever you need light in a room.

I think this one is especially fantastic:

And it’s only $89 people! It comes in the darker walnut finish as well. LOVE.

Oriental Furniture’s selection of furniture is endless, and they range from a little to a lot of Asian flair:

Some are just plain classic:

Oriental Furniture also carries an extensive selection of shoji screens:

I never thought a shoji screen would work in our home, but I big fat LOVE that grey one! Isn’t it beautiful?

You know I love roman shades, and Oriental Furniture has a huge selection of both fabric and bamboo:

Whoo! You won’t believe their prices for these either. :) Love it!

The fine folks at Oriental Furniture are graciously giving away a $50 gift card to FIVE lucky readers! Awesome!

Here’s the drill – leave a comment here for your first entry. For your second entry, go to the Oriental Furniture site here, take a look around and then pick out an item you love. Come back here to leave a second comment letting us know what it is. That’s it!

The giveaway will be open until Monday the 7th at noon Eastern time.

Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Giveaway Weekend!

Hello there! I’m back with another great giveaway this weekend, and it’s one of my favorites. My friend Beki of The Rusted Chain is not only funny, pretty and sahweeeet…but she’s also super talented.

I like her a lot. (Said like Lloyd Christmas.)  :)

She’s made a name for herself with her stamped jewelry, but has a beautiful selection of other pieces as well. I picked out a few of my favorites from her shop, all in a Valentine’s Day theme. Perfect for this weekend!

You know Honeysuckle is the Pantone color of the year, right? It’s a beautiful pink and I am smitten with it. I fell in LOVE with the touches of it in this necklace:

honeysuckleneck1

Isn’t that beautiful? A touch of unexpected fun mixed in with pretty and traditional. :)

And there are earrings to match:

honeysuckleears1

Just lovely. Perfect for spring! (Sigh…spring…)

If you’re looking for a Valentine’s gift for just about…well…any female on the face of the earth, I’m betting she’d love any of the following:

stamploveneck3

Please feel free to forward this post to your significant other with the subject line “Any will do.” I think they appreciate the hints.  :)

Not only is this one perfect for V-Day, but it’s also a great gift idea for the newly engaged or married woman in your life:

stamptla1

Just precious! So sweet.

This one is my favorite with a “love” theme:

stampxo

The sweet little heart and hugs and kisses put it over the top. LOVE.

And I have to mention my favorite of all of Beki’s pieces, because it’s the one I own:

stampedblessed4

I absolutely love it. It’s pretty and delicate and says it all in one word. It’s one of my favorite necklaces and I wear it constantly.

So those are some of my favorites – I know you’ll find plenty of your own. :)

Here’s the best part -- Beki has graciously offered a $25 gift certificate for TWO winners! Since most of her jewelry is under $30, you'll be sure to find something you’ll love.

Here’s the drill – leave a comment here for your first entry. For your second entry, go to Beki’s site here and pick out one of your favorite pieces. Come back here to leave a second comment letting us know what that is. That’s it!

**You can also take advantage of a 15 percent discount on any purchase through the end of the month by entering the code “TDC15.”

The giveaway will be open until Monday, Valentine’s Day at noon Eastern time.

Have a GREAT weekend! :)

Giveaway Weekend

Well hello! I am back from a FANTASTIC few days hanging with some amazing bloggy friends. I’ll tell you more about it soon, but I have a fabulous giveaway for you all first!

Amy from Amy Peters Studio makes some of the most adorable stamped jewelry around – I love her variety and the sweet messages on her pieces. And she’s been doing this since she was EIGHT years old – she’s a pro now, to say the least. ;)

Of course, I picked out a few of my faves to show you. And of course, I had 20 pictures saved and had to get a grip on  myself to whittle that down just a tad.

I know I should save the very best for last, but I couldn’t resist putting these first – TOO cute! Check out the itty bitty cutie patootie fortune cookie necklaces:

UGH. Are you dying? I. am. dying. There’s actually two sizes – the one on the left is a bit bigger. The one on the right is the teensy one. ADORABLE. :)

Like I mentioned, I love the messages on Amy’s pieces. This one has the “take the road less traveled” message:

Wouldn’t that be a great one for a teen in high school or going off to college? A reminder that they don’t always have to follow the crowd is definitely a good thing. ;)

I love that you can purchase the chain and charm, or just the charm for that one. I have plenty of necklaces, so being able to just buy the charm is brilliant!

This one is just plain sweet:

Too cute! If Stink Eye sis is nice, maybe I’ll get it for her. :) This piece is available as a necklace or a bracelet.

I’m also in love with Amy’s dainty, stackable rings. How adorable would this one be, stacked three or four high?:

I love, love, LOVE that little flower!

And the message on this one says “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey”:

Perfect for any woman in your life who is starting on a new phase – job, school, family, whatever.

And I couldn’t resist showing you this ring stand as well:

Ack! Stinkin’ cute!

Aren’t they so sweet? I just love them all. She has an amazing selection!

Here’s the best part -- one of you lovelies will get to spend $75 as you wish at Amy Peters Studio:

WHOO!! I love giving away stuff. This is so fun. :)

Here’s the drill – leave a comment here for your first entry. For your second entry, go to Amy’s site here and pick out one of your favorite pieces. Come back here to leave a second comment letting us know what that is. That’s it!

The giveaway will be open until Tuesday the 1st at noon Eastern time.

Have a GREAT weekend! I’m off to squish my son a few more times – missed him SO MUCH!!! :)

Giveaway Weekend!

Hello all! I’m back with a great giveaway to kick off 2011!

This one is especially near and dear to my heart – because I. LOVE. IT. and because it’s January – and you know what that means! Cleaning and decluttering like mad. :)

I swear I feel more of an urge to clean now than spring or any other time of the year. I haven’t done much cleaning yet this year though – I’m still decluttering. THEN I’ll clean. Swear, cross my heart. Probably.

I don’t share products with you unless I personally like them or have tried them – and from the very first time I tried Shaklee cleaning products, I was Hooked. (With a capital “H,” for emphasis.)

shaklee-logo-01a

My friend Bonnie at Donahue Wellness got me hooked on these products about a year ago. I was leery of “green” products, but this stuff impressed me so much, I’m now a Shaklee user for life.

I’ve shown you some of my favorite products and how great they work – first, our nasty oven:

I tried for YEARS (not kidding) to get that baked in yuck off.

A few scrubs with this smells-like-so-good-you’ll-wanna-eat-it Scour Off:

And it looked thisclose to brand new again!:

(Sorry for the craptastic night pic.)

One of my very, very favorite products is the dishwash detergent:

A little tiny bit of Shaklee packs a punch:

That’s all you need! And it works.

We are hooked on the laundry detergent too --

It’s insane how little you need! We got a small box of the detergent back in early October, and we just ran out of it last week. I mean, I hate laundry with a burning, searing passion and do it as little as possible, but hubby does it regularly. :) And it still lasted that long!

My all time favorite product is the Shaklee Basic H2 Organic Concentrate cleaner. It rocks my world.

First of all, you can use it on just about anything. Seriously. I use it on stainless steel, counters, floors, sinks, windows, mirrors…anything.

And one bottle of the concentrate will last you forever and ever and EV.ER. Check out how much you need to clean:

Teaspoons and “drops” people. In a 16 ounce spray bottle. That’s fantastic!!

One bottle of the concentrate is only $12. It’s been a year since I got my bottle of the H2 concentrate and it’s not even half way gone. You would think I don’t clean my house. I do. Sometimes.

Nah…I DO! I keep a bottle upstairs and down, and use it constantly. And I mix my bottles for degreasing – the one that takes the most concentrate:

IMG_2746

All one and a half teaspoons. I won’t need another bottle of the H2 concentrate for another year, at least.

And I love their spray bottles – they’re cute and they work:

And hearts flutter out of them:

No, that’s just me. :)

Bonnie has a GREAT blog were she shares some great cleaning tips (and how she uses the Shaklee products). You can see a recap of ALL of her 2010 cleaning posts here. Warning:  You will want to go clean out your fridge, sink or stove immediately! ;)

Now let’s get to the really good part -- Bonnie has graciously offered TEN samples of Basic H2 to ten of you! (Each little vial holds enough Basic H2 to make two bottles of powerful cleaner when mixed with 16 ounces of water.)

Here’s the drill – leave a comment here for your first entry. For your second entry, go to Bonnie’s Shaklee page and pick out a cleaning item you would love to try out. Come back here and leave a second comment with your favorite.

**Many of us are thinking about our weight in January too – check out the January special here!

The giveaway will be open until Monday the 17th at noon Eastern time. Have a GREAT weekend!

Giveaway Weekend!

Hello all! I’m back with another great giveaway weekend courtesy of my friend Kelly from Deeply Fabulous:

  • Deeply Fabulous

I showed you her adorable bags back in October and I just fell in love with them. I couldn’t resist this cutie Boo bag:

I was so pleased with it when it arrived! Just adorable, and perfect for treats. :)

Kelly does not disappoint this time of year either – I can pretty much guarantee you will say “That is cauuute!” at least once to yourself during this post. ;)

This plaid bag is so perfect for Christmas, I just can’t even stand it!

I am trying so hard to resist this one…but I think the bag may win out. The bow is what gets me. :) How fun would it be to carry that around this time of year?

The candy cane bag is too sweet:

And so original – I love that! Love that the straps are the striped fabric too.

Told you – adorable!

Kelly makes some super cute hair accessories as well, like these cutie patootie Santa hair bows:

Seriously, if you have a little girl, I demand you get these and put them in her hair! How can you pass those up? Especially when it’s only $4.99 for the pair. Really. Get them and then send me pictures. ;)

I love this one too:

You could use it to dress up anything during the holidays – your coat, a purse, a sweater. How fun!

And Kelly’s non-holiday bags are so stinkin’ cute too – this Minnie Mouse polka dot bag is actually quite perfect for this time of year, don’t you think?:

And it comes with the headband…for only $24.99!

I know a LOT of teachers, and I really love this set as a teacher gift:

It doesn’t scream “I’m a teacher!,” but the typography print is just perfect! They could use it anywhere, and with the cute accessories, it’s a great idea for a gift.

See? ADORABLE! I can tell you first hand the quality of the bags is fantastic – I couldn’t believe it for the price!

Kelly is graciously offering one of you $100 to spend as you wish at her shop (for existing or custom merchandise)! WOWZA!!! With her prices, you’ll be able to buy something for you and get a couple gifts. (And maybe something else for you.)  ;)

AND all TDC readers are eligible to receive a special 15 percent discount using the coupon code: "IPinkPuffyHeartTDC." (Even her discount codes are cute!) This code can be used at checkout at Deeply Fabulous from now through next Sunday, December 12th.

Whoo! Thanks Kelly!

There are two ways to enter the giveaway this weekend – for the first, leave a comment here. For your second chance, visit Kelly’s site here, take a look around, and come back here to leave a comment telling us one of your favorite items.

That’s it! The giveaway will be open through Monday at noon. Remember, if you post anonymously, be sure to leave your email in the comment.

Hello there! How early did you get up this morning? Can you believe I have NEVER gotten up early to shop on Black Friday? Have I mentioned how much I love sleep? ;)

The week of giveaways continues on this Black Friday with another great giveaway from Wuslu.com!

Yasmin, the owner of Wuslu, is a buyer in the interior design industry, and is able to negotiate with manufacturers to get accessories and furniture at deep discounts -- well below retail prices!

The Wuslu site offers a fantastic variety of products, and you don’t know what you’ll find on her site each day till you check it out. FUN!

There’s one little thing that makes Wuslu unique -- to get the fantastic prices they offer, there is only one item for sale each day. Once the item is sold out or by 10 a.m. Eastern time the next day, it’s gone! Sometimes the product is sold again at a later date, sometimes not.

I have a few Wuslu favorites I wanted to show you…

These lamps are FAB people:

And where have you seen lanterns just like these?:

Yeah…that would be Pottery Barn. :)

LOVE these funky mirrors/art:

That sunburst mirror is only $21.95 plus $5 shipping – crazy good!

One of my all time favorite Wuslu products is this coffee table:

Isn’t that fantastic?

To celebrate WUSLU’s one year anniversary, this weekend (November 26, 27 and 28) the Wuslu daily deal will be a SURPRISE “box” for only $7 plus $5 shipping. It will contain anything from a chair, lamp, pot rack, candle holders, vases, picture frames and everything in between!

AND, on Cyber Monday – Yasmin is having Wuslu sell-off, which is a selling marathon so empty out inventory and clear space for great new finds. It starts at 10:00 a.m Eastern on Monday and lasts 24 hours. Be sure to check in -- WUSLU will be relisting a lot of its older inventory.

Whew! So many deals, so little time! :)

Yasmin is graciously offering one of you $50 to spend as you wish at Wuslu! Will you spend it on yourself or to buy a gift? I won’t tell if you get yourself a little somethin’ somethin’.  ;)

You know the deal peeps:

1. Leave a comment here for your first entry.

2. For your second entry, visit the Wuslu site, and browse around the history tab to check out the past deal of the day items. Come back here and let us know one of your favorites in a second comment.
