Grundtal pot rack

Description: My husband and I attended a cooking class where we saw a single-bar ceiling-mount pot rack that we thought was just perfect for a small kitchen like ours. The pots and pans nest into one another saving a lot of space. But these racks are ridiculously expensive. So we used an IKEA Grundtal rack - IKEA shows it as a wall-mounted bar but we found it worked great for ceiling mount as well.  We twisted one end of the hooks 90 degrees to allow the pots to hang sideways, nesting into one another.

Child's Play Kitchen Set

Materials: RAST nightstand, GRUNDTAL towel rail, RIGEL hook, ATTEST knobs, ATTEST handles, LINDSDAL knobs, CAPITA legs

Description: I used two RAST nightstands with multiple other Ikea items to make a child's play kitchen set - a stove/oven with a sink, and a separate refrigerator.

Snowwhite playkitchen from Hungary

Materials: Grundtal rail, Grundtal S hook, Lansa handle, Panna black coaster, Svep knob

Description: Our two year old daughter was crazy about cooking and acting like a real cook lately. She was a great fan of the Ikea playkitchen, and although we thought it was very cool, it was a bit expensive for us. So we decided to make one for her just by ourselves. We never expected it would be so much fun to design it, collect all the accessories and for my husband Tamas to put it all together.

We used mostly Ikea stuff (brought back and faulty furniture pieces) and some other Ikea accessories.

Chalkboard (Veneer paint with chalkboard paint)
Puck light - Lidl (works with batteries. When you push the middle it's on)
The tap is an old used tap.
The sink is also an old metal bowl from my kitchen.
The mini kitchen's equipment are also from Ikea's Duktig series. We absolutely love them.

So this is our white Hungarian Ikea playkitchen. Hope you like it. Our little girl loves it, and we are very glad to see her beeing as happy as she is now with it.

The ultimate scarf organizer

Materials: GRUNDTAL Towel rail, and S hooks, BINDER CLIPS

Description: I needed a way to store Scarves. If you have a basket or some sort of closet thing, you will know that it SUCKS. Because scarves need to be seen, and not folded. They also need to be organized in a way that does not leave them in a massive pile on the floor every morning. NO SUCH INVENTION EXISTS. Until now.

Install the GRUNDTAL two pole towel rack into the wall at about 6 feet from the ground. Hang the S hooks from it and then attach about 2 Binder clips per hook. You can not just hang the scarves on the S hooks directly - you will get tears and bumps and they will fall off constantly. Now clip all of your scarves to the binder clips. You may peruse through your scarves with a simple click click click.

Foos ball coat rack

Materials: Grundtal pot rack and rail, foos ball men

Description: I took Runa Klock's foosball coat rack idea and made it from Ikea parts and foosball men I bought off eBay and spray painted.

We use the shelf for bags, hats, bike helmets, and umbrellas, the men for jackets, and the hooks for drying laundry. Works great!

Stainless steel coffee table

Materials: Drill with a phillips head attachment, Vika Hyttan table top length 47 1/4 width 23 5/8 price 99.00 (located in the desk section), one pack Grundtal legs. I used 16 1/8 price 25.00 or less depending on height you choose (located in the bathroom cabinet section)

Description: Wanted a new coffee table. Ended up at Ikea, but did not like any of their tables, so we decided to make our own using a stainless steel desk top. This is what we came up with.

Stainless steel coffee table cost 125.00

Turn the table top over and mount the legs at each end making sure you center them properly. I like the look of the legs mounted at the end but its up to you.

I like this table its sturdy, doesn't wobble
