Giveaway weekend!
Hello there and happy-almost-weekend! :)
This weekend I have a cool giveaway for you – the idea behind the Wuslu site is one I’ve not seen before.
Yasmin, the owner of Wuslu, is a buyer in the interior design industry, and is able to negotiate with manufacturers to get home furnishing and décor products at deep discounts. I’m talking well below retail prices here peeps.
The Wuslu site offers a fantastic variety of products, and it’s kind of like the feeling I get when I’m walking into Goodwill – I don’t know what I’ll find on her site each day till I check it out. :)
There’s just one teeny tiny thing about Yasmin’s site, and it’s what makes Wuslu unique. To get the fantastic prices they offer, there is only one item for sale each day. Sometimes the product is sold again at a later date, sometimes not. Once the item is sold out or by 10 p.m. Eastern time each day, it’s gone for that day.
I love the selection of home decor items Yasmin picks out! I found a few I loved in her history of products:
Oh, that dresser has some purdy lines! And the design on the front makes it truly unique. Gorgeous!
This basket tray coffee table had me at hello:
Isn’t that cool? I’m a basket freak – so a whole coffee table as a basket? Swoon.
You’ll find items for kid’s spaces as well:
Ack!! Those. are. adorable. And the price was $159 for BOTH.
Not only are the prices fantastic, but the shipping costs are only $5 – even for furniture and really heavy items, like this bistro set:
This set was Thursday’s product of the day and it sold for less than $200 with shipping.
What a perfect table for a foyer or hallway:
And it sold for $49! I love it!
At the end of the week, Yasmin will relist the best seller of the week, like this sphere table lamp:
This one is a knock off of a $400 lamp – but the one offered at Wuslu was $30. (You have to see it lit up – so cool!)
This mirror is just beautiful!:
This baby is almost three feet by three feet – huge! I have seen similar mirrors in home decor shops going for $250 and up (not kidding). This one sold for $89 plus $5 in shipping. That’s crazy good.
Mirrored night stands are huge right now, and this one has a little extra detail that I love:
So pretty and unique!
You know I love pot racks! (I took ours down last week but I already miss the extra storage.):
I think they really warm up a kitchen – Yasmin even shows pictures of how the item (or a similar item) would look in a space – love that!
And for you animal print lovahs, you’ll be excited to see Friday’s item for the day!:
Isn’t that FAB? It will sell for $138.95, and only $5 shipping! Whoohoo! That’s a steal!
Remember that it will only be listed till the inventory is sold out or till 10 p.m. on Friday, whatever comes first. You’ll know when the inventory is nearly depleted because the “Buy” button will change in size to let you know it’s almost gone. (Love that idea.)
Yasmin is graciously offering one of you $50 to spend as you wish at Wuslu! What will you find to spend it on? I don’t know, I don’t know! It’s a surprise every day! And who doesn’t love surprises?! (Umkay…don’t raise your hand if you hate surprises.)
You know the deal peeps – leave a comment here this weekend for your first entry. For your second entry, visit the Wuslu site, and browse around the history tab to check out the past deal of the day items. Come back here and let us know one of your favorites in a second comment.
The giveaway will be open until noon (Eastern time) this coming Monday.
And if you see something you love, keep checking out the Wuslu site. Some items come back, some don’t. You never know!
Hope you have a great weekend! We have a fun one planned – I can’t wait to tell you more about it in a couple days! :) :)
Can you tell I’m excited? Yippee!! But for now, I’m off to organize some more DVD’s. (Sigh.)
