not quite a hack but it's a nice desk organizer idea from diana.
"so, i don't know if this is considered an ikea hack. but recently there was a growing mess of papers and knick knacks on the tray in our hallway where we keep our keys and such. i got the idea to use the ikea plastis ice cube tray to organize our things and it made all the difference. what once was a totally unintelligible pile of receipts and coupons and note pads is now easily accessible and organized."
